V.I.P. has been ranked by Financial Review’s Smart Investor Magazine for December 2010 as the number one franchise system under $50,000 for the second straight year, following its win in 2009 and has increased it’s overall ranking from 84% to 88%, with the number two franchise group on 75%.

V.I.P. has been ranked as the number one franchise system under $50,000 by the Financial Review's Smart Investor magazine, outscoring its nearest competitor by nearly 10% with an overall score of 84%.

V.I.P. Founder and Chairman, Bill Vis says “While we know that we have a good system, it’s great to be recognised through an independent study as the best franchise system under $50,000.

“Since finishing number two last year, we have implemented new changes to our system, including the introduction of a website giving franchisees the opportunity to showcase testimonials, photos and information about themselves to their own area incorporating the latest in Google map technology.

“We’ve been able to grow the number of franchises in this economic climate because of the appeal of being your own boss and the control over their lives that this gives people. When I started my franchise business in 1979 I was out the front of a factory when an employee came up to me and said ‘why would you want to mow lawns for a living?’ My response that I could work when and where I wanted, as well as earning $200 in a day – which the factory worker earned in a week – was enough to convince him to join.”
