Look up and you’re sure to see dust on your ceiling fan.
Ceiling fans collect so much dust which has been proven to have links dermatological issues and respiratory allergies.
It is important to regularly clean and dust your fan for the health of you and your family.
What you need:
- Step Ladder
- Old Pillow Case
- Scarf/Bandana/Mouth Mask (something to protect you from breathing in dust)
- Spray and wipe cleaner
- Paper Towel
What to do:
- Lay out an old sheet to catch any dust and protect your flooring.
- Place something over your mouth and nose to protect you from breathing in dust.
- Open your pillow case and slide it over one of your fans blades. Apply some pressure and pull back towards you. This method helps to collect the dust in the pillow case.
- Repeat step 3 on all the fan blades.
- Spray cleaning product on paper towel and wipe the fan over to collect any dust particles that may have been missed.
- Shake the sheet and pillow case outside before you wash or just throw away.
